Typical Food From Pangkep ( Dange)

Dange is one of typical food in Pangkep regency. Actually, dange is from Segerisubdistrict in Pangkep regency. And the ingredients are made of natural mateials. So, dange free from chemisrty. Because the natural materials, dange can stay on for a long time.
Dange cake shaped like a buroncong cake, the material is made from black glutinous rice, palm sugar and grated coconut. The dough ingredients are then inserted into a mold made of clay and burnt in the fireplace. These foods are usually made of fruit hand. The price is quite affordable, ieRp 5,000 for a box containing ten seeds dange.
This cake is a traditional cake from districts rather segeriPangkep. his name is dange. This cake is made of material of black glutinous rice, palm sugar, grated coconut which is inserted into a mold from clay that has been heated. Then the mold is closed with a pedestal upside down banana leaves. Once cooked, the cake will be doused with red sugar. Dange cakes can be found along the road axis segeri contained dozens of stalls selling dange.

*      Equipments :
1.     Pa’rangeang
2.     Basin
3.     Dapo’ api
4.     Clamp
5.     Pick
6.     Banana leaf
7.     Pattapi

*      How to make it :
-          black glutinous rice or glutinous white rice, coconut and brown sugar mixed.
-          then the material has been incorporated into pa'rangeang mixed in one container pa'rangeang, just with a single transplant dough, after it burned in dapo’ for five minutes.
-          once cooked, can be lifted and taken using a pick and then placed above dangepattapi and ready to put into the dos box coated leaves for sale.
